  A high quality & heavy duty "Hitsu Nata" Japanese hatchet. The blade of this knife is made of hand forged steel & is extra sharp. The blade has a double edge bevel & the back of the blade is extra thick measuring 3/16" thick. The sturdy handle is made of Japanese White Oak. This Hitsunata hatchet knife is great for many uses including use as a machete, brush axe, a heavy-duty whacking garden hatchet, use as a hatchet for kindling, etc.   Made in Japan.
